Common questions
Can the charger run only on solar?+
On sunny days, largely yes. Solar-aware chargers divert excess generation to the car, though in practice most charging blends solar with cheap-rate overnight electricity.
Do I need solar panels to get a charger?+
No. We install standalone chargers too, and can size the electrical work so solar can be added later.
How long does installation take?+
Usually half a day, depending on the cable run between your consumer unit and parking spot.
